Delete your EateryHub Staff account
Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Applies to the EateryHub Staff app by EateryHub (Android and iOS) and the same staff sign-in on eateryhub.ca
EateryHub Staff is the staff app for restaurants that use EateryHub. You can delete your account at any time, either in the app or by email. Deleting your account does not delete the restaurant you work for or its records.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open EateryHub Staff and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to the More tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on that device.
Only owner of a restaurant? We never leave a restaurant without an owner. If you are the only owner, first make another team member an owner (More → Team), then delete your account. To close the restaurant itself, contact us at the email below.
Option 2 — Ask us by email
If you can't use the app (for example, you no longer have the device), email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my EateryHub Staff account".
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in, so we can confirm the account is yours.
- Tell us the restaurant name, if you know it.
- We reply to confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request (the response time set by Canada's privacy law, PIPEDA). If we need to confirm the account is yours, we'll ask before deleting anything.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account: your email address login, password and active sessions.
- Your team memberships: your role and access at every restaurant you belonged to.
- Your staff profile: the name and role details attached to your sign-in.
- Your push notification registrations: the device tokens used to send you staff alerts.
What is kept, and why
- Restaurant records, such as reservations, guest records, menus, POS orders, payments, time-clock entries and activity history. These belong to the restaurant, not to your personal account, and are kept for its operations and legal obligations — for example, the Canada Revenue Agency requires businesses to keep sales and payroll records for six years. Your name may still appear as text on records you created (for example, an order you rang in or a change to a booking); the link to your deleted account is removed.
- The restaurant account itself, including its billing history. An owner can ask us to close a restaurant by email.
- Backups and security logs. Copies in encrypted backups and server logs are removed as they expire on our normal schedule. They are not used to restore your account.
